A dedicated 240V GFCI circuit

Almost every plug-and-play and hardwired spa needs its own 240-volt circuit protected by a GFCI disconnect mounted within sight of the tub and at least five feet away. We install the breaker, the weatherproof disconnect, and the wiring to manufacturer spec so your warranty stays intact and the job passes inspection.

Does your panel have room?

A spa typically draws 40–60 amps — a big slice of a 200-amp panel, and often more than an older 100-amp panel can spare. We run a quick load calculation; if there’s capacity we tie straight in, and if not, we’ll talk through a subpanel or a panel upgrade before anything is installed.

Permits and inspection

Hot tub and sauna circuits require an electrical permit and inspection in Jackson and Josephine counties. We pull the permit, do the work to code, and meet the inspector on site — you don’t have to coordinate any of it.
